As a systemic management consultancy, we take responsibility for the environment and society in which we operate. That is why we are continuously aligning kick with more sustainable business practices. To support this, we developed a sustainability strategy based on the criteria of the German Sustainability Code (DNK) and published it on the DNK website.

Our assessment against the DNK criteria showed that climate protection is an area where we have a particular need for action. Because our consultants often work on-site with clients, we see business travel as one of our biggest opportunities to reduce CO₂ emissions. For this reason, we have decided not to travel by plane within Germany. The few flights that cannot be avoided are offset, as are all other business trips.

Our website is also designed to minimize emissions by largely avoiding data-intensive content such as large images and videos. We reduce energy consumption through lean programming and sustainable design.

In May 2022, we joined the “Grüner Hirsch” initiative. This local alliance in Berlin’s Tempelhof-Schöneberg district aims to promote environmentally responsible business practices and innovative projects for the future. “Grüner Hirsch” is a voluntary commitment that also helps increase the visibility of sustainability topics.
